programmes in which the massage strength or the quantity of water

can be varied. It is also possible to add a steam bath option to your

What wellness experience suits you best depends on your personal situation and preferences. It is dependent on the way in which you live your life and how you want to experience your wellness moment. It goes without saying that the wellness experience can be strengthened with colour, aroma and music therapy.

Can you imagine how it feels to be massaged by 5000 litres of water for 15 minutes, while only actually consuming 45 litres? Sealskin wellness showers are rightly known as “Xtreme Wellness showers”. Extreme here refers to the power of the water, and, therefore, the intensity of the massage. Both the Refresh and the Revive wellness showersarefittedwiththistechnology.

Wellness showers use a powerful pump which circulates the water from a built-in shower tray. So the jets of your wellness shower deliver not the standard +/- 10 litres of water per minutes, but almost +/-100 l/min.

The pump and the shower tray are in a closed circuit through which the water circulates. During the shower there is no need to add extra water, and the heated shower water does not drain away unnecessarily. So not only do you save water, but because you don’t have to keep your boiler on you also save on your energy bills.

So Sealskin reduces both water and energy consumption.

Conventional product 15 minutes x 10 l/min = 150 litres

Tropical rain showerTheTensocanbeoptionallyextendedwithatropicalrainshowerdesignedtofitthedesign of the cabin. Before the wellness massage, it’s a pleasure to rinse yourself in the water of the tropical rain shower.

WaterfallFor an additional neck massage, you can opt for the Refresh wellness showers equip-ped with a waterfall. The waterfall is is connected to the closed circuit, providing a powerful massage jet. By turning your upper body slowing from left to right, you create abeneficialpulsatingneckmassage.

Chromotherapy (coloured lighting)Chromotherapy is provided by coloured LEDs that can create all the colours of the rainbow. The standard programme lets the colours change from one to another, but you can set it to a single colour if you wish.

FM radio + aux inMusic enriches the wellness experience and can be added to Revive Wellness sho-wers. As well as the built-in radio you can easily connect your own music and create your own sound experience in the shower cabin.

Clean systemPuraandInnovRevivecabinscanbefittedwiththecleansystem.Thesystemisequip-ped with a built-in tank for the disinfection agent which is added to the water in the appropriate dose. The clean programme ends with a rinse, so that the cabin can be used again straight after cleaning.

Relax steam bath The Relax steam bath function transforms your wellness shower into a relaxing steam cabin. The pleasant temperature and the high humidity act on your airways and acti-vate your pores. Before the steam bath, we recommend spraying the side panels with hot water using the hand shower.

Tenso RefreshThe Tenso Refresh achieves its refreshing massage effect with dorsal jets which deliver a powerful massage. The top two jets can be locked, intensifying the strength of the 6 lower jets.

Cabin built-in optionsThe Ital is offers versatile built-in options. Depending on your choices, a number of structural building alterations must be carried out before the product can be supplied and installed. The Sealskin technical service will advise you throughout the process, and can check the construction beforehand and/or install the product if you wish.

Alcove constructionThe Ital system can be installed in your own alcove construction if you wish. In this event, Sealskin will supply the standard product without a cabin but with the appropriateprofileforthetileworkyouhaveinmind(levelprofileforwalltilesorraisedprofileforwalltiles).Thealcoveshouldalwaysbefittedwithadoorwithtightlyfittingclosingprofiles.

Wellness panelThe wellness panel should be installed in the wall or false wall. The Ital is delivered as standard with a stainless steel construction panel in which the wellness panel can be mounted. In order to ensure that the joint with the tiling is correctly executed, the construction panel should be installed before tiling commences.

The bath, the choice of the jets, their positioning and of course th ecombination of the different jets all create a unique experience for every individual. As with our wellness showers, the choice of experience depends on your personal situation and preferances. So it’s entirely up to you to put together your own personal wellness.

The Relax whirlpool systems offer ultimate relaxation for body and mind, and are especially suitable for people with busy, hectic lives. The wellness experience comes from the use of tiny air bubbles. A subtle and airy experience in which the water is enriched with oxygen, stimulateing the circulation of the blood.

As the name suggest, Refresh whirlpool systems offer you a refreshing wellness experience at home. Refreshing in the form of a beneficialmusclemassage aftersports, or any other intensive physical effort. You can also intensify the massage with the pulsation option, in which the water jets pulsate to a set rhythm. This pulsation reproduces the effect of a vigorous hand massage.

Revive whirlpool systems enable you to experience how intense and complete your home wellness experience can be. The refreshing massage delivered by Refresh systems is combined with the relaxing effect of Relax whirlpool systems. You can sink into them and relax while your muscle groups are taken in hand. RelaxThe ‘bubble effect’ is created by 10 bottom jets, and you yourself can decide the quantity of bubbles by changing the air intake. You can also opt for the natural effect of little waves with the wave function.

Relax SnoozeThe Relax Snooze whirlpool system has no fewer than 24 very small bottom jets which creates a host of very tiny air bubbles. You’ll feel as if you’re bathing in champagne. The air bubbles are blown into the water very subtly, so that you can snooze peacefully. Perfect when you simple want to relax and enjoy.

RefreshThe refreshing massage effect is created by side-jets and by no fewer than 7 micro jets in in the back of your bath. These dorsal jets provide narrow but powerful jets of water whichhaveabeneficial impactonbackcomplaints.All jetscanbeeasilyadjustedso that you can decide the position of the water jet and can reach the exact painful muscle group you want to treat.

Refresh BoostThe Refresh Boost whirlpool system does what it says: it literally gives the sensation of a boost in the massage. The system combines all the features of the Refresh system with a turbo function. You can choose the strength of the water jets yourself, and even make them fuller. The Refresh Turbo also offers a wave function, so you can gradually combine a stimulating water massage with wave movements.

Whirlpool installation The installation of a whirlpool bath requires somewhat more preparation than a traditional bath. Sealskin recommends that you install the bath without any false walls and tiling so that a larger bath can (if necessary) be installed simply without any structural alterations to your bathroom.

Tiled access panelSealskinwhirlpoolsystemsmustalwaysbefittedwithatiledaccess/servicepanel.Soyou can always reach the the whole system easily, should the need arise. Two types of tiled access panel are available, with and without a ventilation grill. The ventilation grill is necessary on whirlpool systems with a built-in blower. CleaningGood maintenance prolongs the life of your wellness shower or whirlpool. Sealskin therefore recommends that the pipes and jets should be cleaned at least every four weeks, regardless of how often the shwer or whirlpool is used. This can be done easily by means of one of the standard or optional clean programmes and using the Sealskin whirlpool cleaner. For a summary of the programme, consult the product pages 20 en 21.

And you’ll want to continue to enjoy it. The bathroom is a part of

the house which is in daily use. The high-quality products fitted in

your bathroom have been designed with ease of cleaning in mind.

No unnecessary angles and obstacles on smooth surfaces, shower

series with minimum profile adjustment and removable sliding

doors where dirt gets no chance to take hold. To guarantee the

value and durability of your bathroom for many years, it’s sensible to

maintain it regularly and in the right way. Maintenance is one of the

most important, but least enjoyable, aspects. Lime scale and soap

residues in particular are harmful, so we recommend some golden

rules.

For the regular repeat cleaning of your bathroom Sealskin urges you to avoid using any scouring, alkaline, aggressive or corrosive cleaning agents. They may well remove dirt, but at the same time they damage the surface irreparably, so that in future grime is most likely to accumulate and becomes difficult to remove.

In the long run, glass is susceptible to lime scale, grime and soap and shampoo residues. To prevent this, and to extend the life of glass shower panels and cabins, it’s best to opt to have the glass on your Sealskin shower treated with Sealglas. With Sealglas we offer you a professional solution to keep your shower cabin in a good condition. Sealglas is a transparent glass conditioner which gives the glass in your shower a lasting, water and dirt-repellent smooth coating. Note: Do not use on untreated aluminium or on lime-based stone such as marble.

Whirlpool cleanerThis carefully formulated Sealskin whirlpool cleaner has been specially developed for whirlpools. The oxidising cleaning agent includes hydrogen peroxide, which ensures optimal deep cleaning. For best results we advise you to clean the system regularly, every 4-6 weeks depending on the frequency of use and the hardness of the water. Residues of dirt, bath oil and soap in the pipes and the moving parts are completely removed.

SealcleanGives all surfaces in shower cabins, windows, mirrors, enamel and ceramic extra Seal protection. The glass pores are sealed and the surface becomes ultra smooth, so that water runs off it fast. Lime scale and dirt get no chance to adhere to the glass surface. Faster and easier cleaning, with many years of clear (shower) pleasure as a result. Sealclean makes cleaning easier, but it still has to be done.
