Winter Swimming ClubThe Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, April19th, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the Seaview Room at the SealsClub. This will include the election of the 2015 Committee.

The first swim of our 57th Season is scheduled for Sunday,May 3rd. All members of the Seals Club are invited to join usin the swim at the Mahon Pool at 9:00am on that day.

An annual membership fee of $20, $10 or $5, depending onwhether you are Senior (ie:0ver 18), Pensioner or Junior(under 18), can be paid on that day. New members could payon the following Sunday if they want to try before they buy.Each Sunday, a payment of $8.00 per adult swimmer coverssoup and great food after the swim, and entry into ourfund-raising raffle.

Our program starts with a 90m Closest-to-Time event whereswimmers nominate the time it will take them to swim 3 laps.This is followed by a 60m then a 30m handicap freestyleevent. These are run in heats of 4 to 5 swimmers. A teamrelay in which each swimmer covers 30m concludes the day’sswims. Our program caters for all people who can swim 30mor more. You can swim all events, or choose the events youare comfortable with. This is a community club open to alladult swimmers who are happy to meet the modest costsoutlined above. BRIAN ALLEN

Dance ClubSunday 12th April 2015 - Thick fog enveloped Sydney onSunday morning with visibility in the western suburbs droppedto 100m at times. Fortunately for our members, along thecoast there was enough breeze to prevent fog from forming toallow them to rush back from the Easter holiday to enjoybeautiful dances such as Rainbow Rumba and Sally Ann ChaCha Cha.
