On behalf of the Fundraising Committee we’d like to thank everyone for supporting our Father’s Day Stall and the Cadbury Chocolates Drive! We are very excited to announce that the Father’s Day Stall raised $1247.42 and the Cadbury Chocolates Drive raised $1,044.10!! This will go a long way to adding more new resources to our greatly refurbished library! Thank you again, and a Big Thank You to the Mums who helped us run the Father’s Day Stall: Rachelle Polesso, Leya Knight, Jennifer Harrison, Alyssa York, and Kate Bourne!

Outdoor Fun in OSHC

No more rain means more time for outside play!

Importance of outdoor play.

Playing outdoors promotes wellbeing by decreasing stress and increasing physical exercise. It also helps children explore their natural environment, express their crea-tivity and develop resilience and coordination skills. In OSHC kids engage in numerous outdoor activities such as:

Outdoor games –such as running, jumping, balancing, skipping and playing ball games strengthen muscles and help develop motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination.

Treasure Hunt - kids will enjoy finding the hidden treasures outdoor. Group Story Telling – children will be relaxed during outdoor storytelling. Outside homework time - homework time will be more enjoyable outside. Outdoor drawing – drawing birds, insects and other things found outdoors. Outdoor exploration – explore and learn about all the things they see. Picnic – kids can take their snacks outside to eat.

Meet the team

We’re here to make OSHC the best experience possible. If you have any questions

about the program, feel free to drop by, meet the team and see what happens first

hand in the program.
