Who Are We?
The Moroccan Center for Export promotion is a governemental institution founded on December 17, 1976 (Hija 25, 1396) by Dahir NO 1-76-385.
MAROC EXpORT endowed with a legal responsibility and financial auto- nomy, i t also under the supervis ion of delegate Ministry to the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy in charge of foreign trade.
The Center is in charge of promoting the export of industrial and agricultural products, services, and any products that do not fall under the jurisdiction of other administrations or organizations, by virtue of law or regulation.
In fact, handicrafts and tourism promotion are governed respectively by The House of Handicrafts and the national Office of Tourism.

FENIp Seafood processing industry occu-pies an important position in the mo-roccan economy. Our makeover fac-tories process more than 70% of the fi sh unloaded by our fi shing fl eets and our products are distributed to more than a hundred of destinations around the world.
Nowadays, morocco is considered as an inescapable regional platform of processing and export of seafood to the international markets.
In order to satisfy the most demanding quality standards and raise its com-petitiveness in an international mar-ket where the fi sh supply is structurally overdrawn with regard to the demand, the sector of seafood industries is en-gaged for several years in a vast pro-cess of upgrade and modernization.
Our processing plants are provided with powerful equipments and handy and well trained workers and our pro-duction processes match the more ri-gorous international quality standards.
Since fi sh varieties we use are worldwide known for their genuineness and highly appreciated for their particular fl avour and thanks to the experience and ex-cellence we developed in processing seafood and to the equipments and production processes that are conti-nuously improved and modernised, our products gained a merit and a distinc-tion among those that are strongly va-lued and highly solicited.

OVERVIEW
Morocco has two maritime coastlines stretching along the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediter-ranean Sea with a length of 3,500 kilometres. In addition, with an inshore and offshore fleet made up of nearly 2,993 ships and port infrastructures that are growing.
Thanks to the multiple free-trade agreements concluded with several countries, Morocco has become one of the largest producers and exporters of the seafood in the Arab world and Africa.

To boost its competitiveness, Morocco has implemented a procedure, which entered into effect since January 1st, 2010, for the certifi cation of the catches exported to the European market, in accordance with the new regulations.

CANNED FISHMorocco has the specie «Sardina pilchardus Walbaurn» which is worldwide known for its taste quality. Morocco is the world largest producer/exporter of canned sardines. There are 41 pro-duction units that produce canned sardine, mackerel, and tuna with more than 120 thousand tones in 2012.

FROZEN FISHThe activity of freezing seafood occupies an important place among the processing activities of our industry. There are 43 units for seafood processing, mainly located in the Southern region of the Kingdom, because of the development of cephalopod-fi shing and the pelagic fi shery.

About Us: SOCOpO was created in 1999 and since then it has set a target of selling high quality fresh and frozen sea-food. We focus on the careful selection of excelent raw mate-rial. But we take our care further to the whole process of packa-ging, storage and distribution of our final product.
To do this job, we rely on a mo-dern production line built on a 4000 m2 and in order to keep the freshness of the seafood intact, the factory is built in the
