Page 5: Sea glass

Sea glass on the shelf randomness

Page 6: Sea glass

Scribbling in my form

the fractions of the clouds

in the predawn

Page 7: Sea glass

In my neighborhood

there's no body of water

except me

Page 8: Sea glass

The city

where I was born is gone

I tramp on

Page 9: Sea glass

It gets dark early

still.... I'm glad to be

a living being

Page 10: Sea glass

following the veins

of a leaf

to the street

Page 11: Sea glass

Streetlamps and stars

we learn

from before

Page 12: Sea glass

Looking at myself

in the store window

there's a fat old man

Page 13: Sea glass

Starlings burst

from a leafless tree

a song in a dream

Page 14: Sea glass

Apartment buildings

covered with graffiti

a new city

Page 15: Sea glass

Outlines of buildings

in a photograph at night

& that tiny light

Page 16: Sea glass

A rock my pillow

the moonlight my lamp

leaves flapping about

Page 17: Sea glass

Overnight snow

crooked lines protruding

with shadows

Page 18: Sea glass

The sky

a blanket of snow

before it snows

Page 19: Sea glass

Rusted nails hammered

in a white painted board

thin slanted shadows

Page 20: Sea glass

I charged the tree

and brought it down

it's warm in my house

Page 21: Sea glass
Page 22: Sea glass

Did the tree choose to be

or are its branches

latencies

Page 23: Sea glass

An empty grain bin

a man and a woman

and nothing between

Page 24: Sea glass

is it

a cry or a sound

the biting wind

Page 25: Sea glass

I like factories

squat buildings belching smoke

but I hate lunch trucks

Page 26: Sea glass

Christmas Eve

The tinsel on the parking lot fence

is barbed wire

Page 27: Sea glass

Uprooted fig trees

razed villages

the bulldozer is to blame

Page 28: Sea glass

Weep for Khlebnikov

his Radio of the Future

was murdered

Page 29: Sea glass

Praise Avraamov

his Symphony of Factory Sirens

recorded the end of history

Page 30: Sea glass

A miner's pick

found in a man's brain

on an x-ray

Page 31: Sea glass

The drifts of snow

slow our movements down

dressed in space suits
