SDL Tridion 2013 further extends its unique BluePrinting
capabilities
SDL(LSE: SDL) has today announced the release ofSDL Tridion
2013, the next generation of the industrys leading
web content management solution for managing global online
brands.
This release further enhances the credentials ofSDL Tridionas
the content platform of choice for managing global
customer experiences. SDL enables the marketer to understand and
create multi-channel digital experiences
through enhancements to the SDL Tridion user interface, advanced
workflow functionality that is built to support
multi-asset content marketing and an integration framework, with
out of the box connectors that open up
enterprise content repositories.
The biggest problem with content is managing separate items
across multiple sites, brands and languages. With
BluePrinting customers are able to manage relationships between
content items and sites even though hundreds
of contributors are providing and changing content. On top of
that, BluePrinting allows customers to have full
control over their brands and languages across disparate sites.
They only have to manage the differences between
those sites.
Building on the success of BluePrinting capability, SDL Tridion
2013 adds bundling functionality to the workflow
engine, providing a seamless end user experience when creating
complex content marketing projects that consist
of multiple digital assets. A frequent challenge for the
contemporary digital marketer as they look to efficiently
coordinate a content publishing campaign of related content
assets across multiple digital touch points, while stillcomplying
with content standards and governance of their brand, organization
or industry.
Delivering relevant customer experiences efficiently is a

Content Libraries (ECL), that enables digital marketers
to leverage content stored within external enterprise systems as
if it was being managed within SDL Tridion
unlocking these valuable assets.
ECL also provides another point of extensibility for the SDL
Tridion development community and SDL Tridion 2013
will ship with an example implementation and out-of-the-box
connectors for ADAM Digital Assset Management
andSDL Media Manager.
