Symptom

When the employee has a Hiring just after a Firing measure, the Variable SDI amount is always generated with an amount equal to zero in the Infotype 0372 (Integrated daily wage). Besides that, when the employee has a salary changing that affects the Fixed SDI amount, it is necessary to recalculate it. However, during the Payroll execution the system does not show a warning if the flag to calculate the SDI is not checked and should be recalculated.

Solution

The option SDITR ("SDI VARIABLE TRANSF. ENTRE BAJA Y ALTA") was created in the table V_T5F99K2 ("Customer values for configuration options") in order to determine the Variable SDI behavior when the employee switches from a Firing to a Hiring measure. This option allows the user to choose between the following behaviors: 0 - No transferir The Variable SDI is not transfered. 1 - Transf. sólo si es mismo Reg. Patronal The Variable SDI is just transfered when the employee does not change the Social Security Employer during the Firing and Hiring measures. 2 - Transferir siempre The Variable SDI is always transfered. Also, with this implementation, when the employee has a salary changing that affects the Fixed SDI amount, the system will show a warning during the payroll execution, even if the flag to calculate the Fixed SDI is not checked. The solution described in this note will be included in an HR Support Package, as indicated in item "Reference to Support Packages". In case you require these changes to be implemented immediately, do the following steps attached as Correction Instructions: - apply the manual pre-implementation steps. - use SNOTE to apply the source code correction instructions.
