    Sculpture section

They say the sculpture is the purest form of art. Her power to prevail in front of the

viewer comes from the fact that there is a fragment of a world waiting to be understood and felt

it is a tangible part of reality.

Unfortunately, the sculpture is less promoted in Romania, what leads to lack of

experience, necessary to estimate its real value. Attracted by the digital art innovation, we

forget where it all began and it seemed hard to appreciate more the form in its natural state.

Modern Sculpture requires a well thought and studied concept and also a an execution an

achievement made passionately. Our courses aim to restore a link with visual art and cultural

    development of participants.

There are many different forms of sculpting and classes could specialize in one particulararea, but it is likely that a course will take you through the whole scope and you will learn allthere is to know. Here are a few examples that our students might be interested in.

wax mould and ceramics. You will follow your instructor so you wont get lost. The materialswill all be provided.

Terra Cotta Sculpture: This is also a nice place to start. You will probably be working with

figures and your instructor would guide you as to how to go about proportions with the anatomy

    of the figure.

Sculpture course is divided into three modules - drawing, intermediate materials (study -clay) and finished materials - direct carving (wood, stone). We will begin with drawing,

familiarity with the direct observation in the sculptural effect, followed by the contact withmaterial, the clay is ideal for making the transition to drawing, easier for volume and to prepare
