    TAC I/NETSecurity Control Units

New fully redesigned and enhanced security controllers improvecost effectiveness and add significant features to the I/NET Sevensecurity portfolio

    SCU1284 Features/Benefits

    1. Four readers four doors per controllerThe SCU1284 has four reader channels but unlike the old DPU7910 each

reader can be configured as a separate door.

For 80% of installed access control systems, doors are designed using anentry reader only with a request to exit button. So for 80% of installed

doors the new controller is twice as cost effective.

    2. Full escort or two man rule schemeProviding the ability to configure any door to require two cards to bepresented in sequence before the door will allow access. This feature alsoallows the association of people into pairs so an escort scheme can beestablished.

Many higher security buildings require this feature and it is commonlyasked for in places where dangers exist that require visitors to beescorted for their own safety.

    3. Dynamic memory management.By dynamically adjusting its use of memory the SCU can provide highnumbers of card holders when required and balance this with storage oftransactions when this is needed.

Making the most efficient use of memory allows the controller to balancecard holder need against the necessity to store transactions. All automatically without the need for customer intervention.

    4. Configurable audio tonesThe SCU provides a range of user selectable sounder options to configurethe tone pattern a reader will emit based on card holder activity such asbad card read, door open too long and others.

Avoids the cost of installing additional sounders at doors. Providesfeedback in the most user friendly immediate way.

    5. Highly secure alarm input and output devicesProviding highly secure monitoring of security inputs and control of discreet outputs. Protecting messages even whenoffline allowing very large buffers in excess of 100k messages

Protection of field data in degraded conditions ensures system delivers vital information at all times in any situation. The SCU1200 Supervised input controller and the SCU1280 supervised input /output controller are specificallydesigned for this role.

    6. Small footprint, easy installationWith DIN rail mounting, a small footprint and optical tamper protection.

The controller lends itself to easy installation in your own enclosures or the specifically designed models from TAC

    7. Wide range of options for the controller. The security controllers are offered in three models each with an enclosed version. With options for battery kits, tamperkits, lock power supplies.

All items necessary to build a fully functioning controller to your specific needs from a single one stop shop.

    8. Fully flash downloadedThe software for the device can be updated from an I/NET host without having to physically attend the controller

Greatly reduces cost of ownership as we continue to improve our controllers in the future.
