Hello!

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring South Central Trucking & Industry’s Annual

Charity Golf Tournament and Dinner Auction. This year we will celebrate our 22nd

tournament. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 24, 2019 at Rivershore Estates and

Golf Links and is guaranteed to be another remarkable event in support of the Royal

Inland Hospital.

South Central Trucking & Industry (SCT&I) committee has organized the RIH

Foundation’s largest community event and the most successful charity golf tournament in

Kamloops. SCT&I’s Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $2 million toward patient

care equipment and various programs at RIH. These programs include Lead Sponsorship

of RIH’s OR, Emergency Room and Trauma Centre, Cancer Centre Chemotherapy

Treatment Area, the Foundation’s 2nd CT Scanner Campaign and a new Intensive Care

Unit (ICU).

Royal Inland Hospital is a tertiary care centre which means we are a referral hospital for

a large geographic area which provides care for over 225,000 individuals. We are also

the biggest trauma centre in BC outside of Metro Vancouver.

This year, our committee has set an ambitious, yet attainable, goal of $100,000. The

funds raised from this year’s tournament will be used to purchase much needed patient

care equipment at RIH. Please support this fundraising goal, as this is our only hospital

in Kamloops—we need your help to keep it strong.
