Hands on Activity- Painted Story Quilts• View examples of quilts and lead a discussion on storytelling

in art.• Using the notes from the “do now” activity, sketch a story

about promoting peace in the home, school, city, or world. • Make final drawing on muslin fabric using watercolor, wax

pastels, beads, fabric samples, etc. to add to the aesthetic quality of the final product

• Write a reflection on final piece
