We represent the Magna Mater association of Greece and we are writing you in connection to the National In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo TransferSubprogram in Romania. Two years ago, we were very pleased to find outfrom our colleagues in Romania (SOS Infertilitatea Association) that thisprogram was implemented and one fertilization procedure for infertilecouples was financed in your country. Right now, we are aware of the factthat this program was stopped and that is why we are very concerned forthe fate of infertile couples in Romania.

Please do not stop and continue to finance the program that is sonecessary for the infertile persons in today’s Europe, when gradually morepersons are facing this medical condition. The program must continue inRomania too! Hoping that the Romanians suffering of infertility will haveaccess to adequate treatment, as it is the case in other European Unioncountries we thank you!
