    How Can We Improve Your Blogs

    1. Upload your analysis of an opening sequenceand audience research.

    2. Upload reconnaissance location photographs,

    explaining how the locations will be used.

    3. Whenever you make a production decision, write

    about it on your blog.

    4. Upload as many opening sequence with

    comments onto your blog as you can. Includecomments on pace (how many shots in each

    sequences, how long are the shots), soundtrack

    and titles.

    you must have on your blogs:

    your analysis of an opening sequence and youraudience research

    reconnaissance location photographs, explaining how

    the locations will be used notes on production decisions you have taken

    at leasttwo thriller opening sequences with comments

    feedback from the rest of the class (and anyone else

    you are able to ask) about your ideas.Otherwise, with Ms Bhasin, I will begin proceedings to

    remove you from the course.

    What you need to ask: age

    gender

    how often they watch films

    how / where they watch films (cinema, DVD, TV[free channels or Sky movie / pay per view],internet, legal, pirate, etc.

    what genre of films they like and why

    do they like / how often do they watch thrillers?

    what does a film (or specifically a thriller) have todo to grab their attention and make them watch it?

    what do they expect to see in a thriller?
