following candidates are shortlisted for Screening Test for the post of Engineer SC (Electrical/Electronics) – Post No. 03. Venue for Screening Test: Government Commerce College Sector - 15, G - Road (Between G4 and G5 circles)

* - Personal Interview will be conducted only for the candidates who are declared shortlisted,

based on the result of Screening Test.

Screening Test:

The screening test comprises of objective type questions with multiple choice answers, form the areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Hall Tickets for Written test are being sent to the individual candidates separately.

Important Instructions to the Candidates:

1. Candidate should paste a passport size photograph, identical to the one pasted on the application form, in the box provided in the Hall Ticket. The Hall Ticket is a must for entry into the examination hall.

2. Candidates should take their seats in the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time of start of examination. Candidates will not be permitted to enter examination hall after commencement of exam. They will be allowed to leave the examination hall at 11:30 am only.

3. Candidate shall bring a good quality clean writing pad, ball point pen (Blue color) and pencil etc.

4. Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for their journey/stay for written test/Personal Interview.

5. Request for change in Venue or Date of Written Test/Personal Interview will not be entertained.

6. Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, pagers, i-pads, tablet PCs, etc., will NOT be allowed inside the examination hall. If anybody is found possessing such items inside the examination hall, he/she will be disqualified from the exam. Candidate will be solely responsible for safe custody of such items.

7. Impersonation, copying or adopting any other such unfair means to get help from others inside examination hall will lead not only to disqualification of the candidate from the examination but may also draw other necessary action as deemed fit by the administration.

8. After completion of examination the candidate shall return the Question paper and answer sheet to the Invigilator/Examiner before leaving the examination hall.

9. Folding, soiling, mutilation, tearing or any other physical damage to Answer sheet will lead to disqualification of the answer sheet No representation/inquiry in this regard will be entertained.

10. Decision of the Competent Authority/Chief Examiner will be final and binding on all matters related to the written test.

11. Result of the Written Test will be declared by 04:00 pm on same day (ie 23-02-2014) and candidates shortlisted from the written test need to attend the Personal Interview on 24-02-2014 from 09:30 am onwards.

12. The candidates attending Personal Interview shall produce the following certificates in ORIGINAL along with one set of photocopies attested by Gazzetted officer.

a. Proof of Date of Birth

b. Provisional/Original Degree Certificates

c. Experience certificates.

d. SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman certificate (wherever applicable) issued by the Competent Authority in format prescribed by the Govt. of India ONLY. Click here for proforma of certificates: SC/ST (Proforma I) OBC (Proforma II & III).

e. No Objection Certificate (from the current employer, in case the candidate is

presently working in Central/State Govt. or PSU or Autonomous body etc. and

his/her applications was not forwarded through proper channel).

13. Without the above documents, candidate will neither be allowed to appear for interview nor will any fare be reimbursed. Hence, all the candidates are advised to bring the above certificates while attending the Screening Test.

14. To and fro Train (by 3 tier AC) / Bus fare by direct and shortest route will be reimbursed to out-station candidates attending Personal Interview only (after declared shortlisted based on the result of screening test), on production of ticket or proof of journey such as Railway/Bus ticket or ticket number. NO other charges will be reimbursed.

How to reach Examination Centre:

Candidates reaching Ahmedabad (Nearest major Bus stand/Railway station/Airport) can reach Gandhinagar* (Pathikashram bus stand) by State Road Transport buses available from Railway station or any nearest ST bus stand/stop. From there one can reach examination centre (approximately 3km) by Autorikshaw.

Examination centre is located at approximately 3km from Gandhinagar Railway station. * Gandhinagar is about 30 km from Ahmedabad. A brief map indicating the route to Government Commerce College from Pathikashram and Gandhinagar Railway Station is as under:
