Application areas
CSC630 Screened separable connector
Premolded screened separable connectors for XLPE insulated 1- or 3-core 12–24 kV cables, with aluminum or copper conductors with copper tape screens, with or without aluminum or steel wire armouring.
CSC630 fits standard bushings of the external cone type for switchgear, compact substation and cable branch box, according to EN�01�1 & DIN4�636, 400 series 630A,M16 bolt.
Can be installed both indoors and outdoors.

Design
- CSC630 is manufactured in EPDM rubber with three layers; a conductive inner layer, an insulation layer and a conductive outer layer, that are vulcanized together for the best possible interface between the layers, - The thickness of insulator layer ≥ 10mm; - The thickness of conductive outer layer ≥ 3mm; - The conductive outer layer material can withstand UV, ozone, tracking and erosion;- Cross section: 3�-�00mm2;- The voltage: 12-24kV;- Insulation plug made in epoxy resin with copper insert, include a capacitive test point with screened cap protection;- Fulfil the requirements for being touch-proof; - The adapters are designed to ensure a reliable installation;- Delivered in 3-phase kits, complete with crimp cable lugs and stress adapters.
