UTHWEST FLORIDA (December 28, 2009) – The Screaming Orphans, a high-spirited band of four sisters fromunty Donegal, Ireland, will rock the Sydney & Berne Davis Art Center on Friday, January 29 for “A Nightwntown” presented by the Rotary Club of Fort Myers. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the musically-obsessed Diver sisters
play sets of original songs along with fresh takes on traditional Irish tunes with proceeds from the event benefitingPACE Center for Girls of Lee County.
sound of the Diver sisters (Marie Therese- Keyboard, Accordion; Grainne- Guitars; Angela-Bass Guitar, Violin; ann- Drums) has been compared to the Bangles and the Cranberries, and their musical influences range from the Beatl.M., Indigo Girls and Abba to traditional Irish music. Now residing in New York City, the quartet tours up and doweast coast and boasts a large following in Florida. The Screaming Orphans are currently nominated for Top Celtic
k Band by the Irish Music Awards.

CE Center for Girls, Inc., a Florida based 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, is a non-residential delinquencyvention program targeting the unique needs of girls, ages 12 to 18, facing challenges such as foster care, domesticence and drug problems. Many girls also experience abuse and neglect, death of a parent, substance abuse, and/orily history of incarceration. PACE’s mission is to provide girls and young women an opportunity for a better futureugh education, counseling, training and advocacy. Since the Lee County PACE opened its doors in February 2007,
