“May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for

you.” (1st Thessalonians 3:11)

Here we are at the beginning of a new year. This is the time when traditionally resolutions

are made and goals are outlined for the coming year. I’ve given a lot of thought to

what I hope will happen in the coming year at the church. There are certain goals we

hopefully will reach this year. But apart from numerical goals, I believe the Lord’s goals for Scott Church are contained in the Scripture

above.

Promiseland Preschool notes: The children were busy during December. They learned about the meaning of Christmas and some did Nativity activities. We learned the letters Rr and Jj and the numbers 6 & 7. We sang in church on the 14th. Our Christmas parties were on Dec. 18 & 19. Santa Clause made a surprise appearance. Our Christmas program was on the 19th and they did a wonderful job. Our Christmas break is from Dec. 20 to Jan.4. Back to school on Jan. 5th. Have a great holiday season. See you next year!!! ************************************************ Birthdays/Anniversaries: January 2015 2-Maria Randolph 3-David Ossman 7-Alexis Satterfield 8-Amelia Tabacchi Ryan, Jennifer M. We are to love each other. As members of the body of Christ, we are part of the same family and are to treat each other as brothers and sisters. And, as the Scripture says,

our love for each other is to increase; it is to grow as we grow in Christ. As a matter of fact, the

gospel of John tell us that an unmistakable sign of our growing maturity in Christ is our growing

love for each other. And the Scripture closed by telling us that our love for everyone else is to grow as well. It is an exciting

time to live in the area as new families are moving here in record numbers. May we more and more

show others the love of Christ. That is Christ’s goal for us in 2015. May we reach that goal. Happy New

Year!

Blessed are those you seek after righteousness for they shall be filled!

-Jesus Christ

Greetings everyone and Happy New Year from SWAT!! We’re looking forward to an exciting year here at the church. We’ve already grown so much and we are looking to be 100 kids strong by the end of 2015. To kick off the year we’re going to Pittsburgh at the end of the month for the Winter Jam Concert. This concert features some of the biggest names in Christian music. This year we want to do more services here at the church and go minister in other churches. The kids grow more excited all the time to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. It’s hard to believe that this ministry has been going since 2012. God continues to blow me away with His goodness and grace. I believe that revival is right around the corner for us and it’s so important that we continue to seek the Lord with all of our hearts. Thank you all so much for making me and my family so welcome here for the past almost three years. We’re looking forward to many more years with you spreading the Gospel!!! Happy New Year once again and may the Lord bless you with blessings you can’t contain.
