Mothballing Replace all the air in the system with N2 as a inert gas and maintain positive pressure
All the carbon steel systems including piping, heat exchangers, vessels etc.:
Cooling water system, Steam condensate
System, plant water system, instrument air systems, Molten salt/ Dow therm
Hand rolling of rotating machinery
To avoid fastening the rotating parts of machinery, rotate the rotating parts of machinery 2~3 turns at a time by hand at least once per 3 months
Agitators, Pumps
Valve Greasing Grease all valves Gate, Globe, Ball valve etc.
Rust removal and painting
Remove rust on surface of structure and equipments by scraper or wire brush and paint on it.
