3rd Grandparents’ Day

grade Grandparents to come

have lunch with their grand-

child. Please be sure to re-

turn this form by Tuesday so

the lunch ladies may have an

accurate number of guests to

expect for lunch.

Recorders

Students in grades 3 – 6 will be

playing recorders in music class

for the next two weeks and

again later in the year. The re-

corder is a small, fairly inexpen-

sive flute that is very helpful

teaching students how to read

music notation and in develop-

ing the eye-hand coordination

necessary to play any instru-

ment. We provide recorders to

be used in music class, however

if you wish to purchase one for

your child to practice with at

home they are for sale in the

school office for $4.00.
