1- Obtain and open the folder Scilab_Installation
2- Open the folder VS2010Express

5- Install Visual C# 2010 Express
6- Click on Next and select the correct option as illustrated in the picture

9- Click Install to install all the items
10- When Setup complete you will see the following screen click exit to exit

11- In the same way install Visual Basic 2010 Express, Visual C++ 2010 Express, and Visual Web
Developer 2010 Express
12- From the Scilab_Installation folder click on scilab-5.2.2 Setup file

13- You should get the following screen, Click on Run

15- You should get the following screen, Click next
16- You should get the following screen, chose accept and click on Next

17- You should get the following screen, check the installation folder and Click Next
18- You should get the following screen, chose the Atlas Library for SciLab option, but leave all other
options the same, then click Next

19- You should get the following screen to create a short cut, Click Next
20- Check all the boxes as shown, then click next

21- When you see the following screen, click install
22- After the installation completes, you should get the following screen, click Finish

23- SciLab will be launched and you should get the following screen
24- Now you need to install the Toolboxe SIVP-0.5.3 with SciLab as indicated in the arrows in the
folder Scilab_Installation

25- Goto to the folder where scilab software has been installed e.g. C:\Program Files\scilab-5.2.2
then click on contrib folder
26- Copy the SIVP_0.5.3 folder from the Scilab_installetion folder

27- Paste the SIVP_0.5.3 folder into the contrib folder
28- Now click on the contrib folder, you should have the following screen

29- Click on SIVP_0.5.3 folder
30- You should get the following screen, close the scilab program if it is open then click on the
loader file

31- The following screen should come up
32- Goto the menu Toolboxes and execute the submenue SIVP_0.5.3

33- You should get the following screen indicating the SIVP has been loaded, now scilab is ready to
be used
