History: Significant Events LocallyQueen Elizabeth II had her ‘official’ birthday recently. It was her second celebration as she was actually born on 21 st April! The Queen is now 94 years old.
In the summer of 2012 she was 86 years old and was very proud as London hosted the Olympics Games for the 3rd time. Watch this clip which formed part of the opening ceremony of the Games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AS-dCdYZbo
