What an eventful term it has been - a helicopter visit, the Prime Minister has also visited along with an amazing school production to finish the term off in style. The children have been very busy with lots of new learning and new experiences this term with our major focus looking at “Performing Arts”. We would like to thank all of the school community for their continued support in and around the school. I would like to thank our dedicated staff for another great term. We wish you all a safe and enjoyable holiday. SCHOOL PRODUCTION “There’s No Place like Home” Words cannot really justify the way I feel about our school production. The entire show from start to finish was stunning! I feel extremely proud to be leading such a dynamic group of people. This production wouldn’t have been the success it was without the huge support that we have received from our school community. Through the design and making of costumes, choreography, making props and so much more, not to mention the huge turnout we had to both evening shows. Thank you to the Kelson School Team who once again produced such a professional performance. All of the hard work paid off! Lastly well done to our talented children who all shone on stage!

27th September 2017

Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whanau,

Here we are at the end of another busy term.

What an eventful term it has been - a helicopter visit, the Prime Minister has also visited along with an amazing

school production to finish the term off in style.

The children have been very busy with lots of new learning and new experiences this term with our major focus

looking at “Performing Arts”. We would like to thank all of the school community for their continued support in

and around the school.

I would like to thank our dedicated staff for another great term. We wish you all a safe and enjoyable holiday.

SCHOOL PRODUCTION “There’s No Place like Home”

Words cannot really justify the way I feel about our school production. The entire show from start to finish was

stunning! I feel extremely proud to be leading such a dynamic group of people.

This production wouldn’t have been the success it was without the huge support that we have received from our

school community. Through the design and making of costumes, choreography, making props and so much

more, not to mention the huge turnout we had to both evening shows.

Thank you to the Kelson School Team who once again produced such a professional performance. All of the hard

work paid off!

Lastly well done to our talented children who all shone on stage!

ARTSPLASH

We had a group of Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children taking part in Artsplash on Monday evening, 18th September. We

also had children’s Artwork displayed in the foyer of the Micheal Fowler Centre. What a fantastic night of singing

and visual arts. I was so proud of the way our children represented our school on stage. Thank you to Miss

Herron for all of her hard work preparing the children for the performances.

OUTSTANDING MONIES

Thank you to those families who have paid for Term 3 swimming and any sports team fees for the year. Any

families who have outstanding monies for any of the above events, please make payment to the School Office. It

would be hugely appreciated if these can be cleared by the end of the term.

SCHOOL T-SHIRTS/SINGLETS/NETBALL UNIFORMS

Can all children who have borrowed school t-shirts, singlets and Netball uniforms, please return them to Miss

Harrison by Friday 29th September.

SIGNMEE

We have been really pleased with the uptake so far. It has been great to hear the positive comments from many

of you, and we are sure that as we learn how to better use the system, everyone will reap the benefit. Thank you

for your support in all of this. If you have already signed up you can go in at any stage and check your SignMee

inbox by going to www.signmee.com and logging in. If you still need to signup, look for the email that you were

sent on the 15th June from Signmee inviting you to join up to Kelson School. If you are unsure, please don’t

hesitate to contact Nicky Harrison in the School Office.
