for the State Ballet Theatre of Russia’s full-length production of the Nutcracker. Delight your students with this full-scale ballet that brings the beloved holiday story to life. Students can connect what they see on stage with the Creative Process not only in viewing dance, but discussing cultural connections to the traditional story, costume designs and set interpretations. May 15, 2013 (Gr. 5– 12)The Improvised Shakespeare Company reinvents Shakespeare for the modern audience, and has developed a unique and interactive approach for deepening students’ understanding of Shakespeare’s texts. Based on audience suggestions, this theatre company creates a fully improvised play in Elizabethan style. Each play is completely improvised, so each play is entirely new!
