2017 PLANNING
It is that time of the year when we are making decisions regarding 2017 and we need a clear picture of
our enrolment numbers. If you are moving and know you will not be requiring a place for your child in
2017 please advise the office or forward an email to [email protected] as soon as
possible. Likewise if you are aware of friends or relatives who are seeking enrolment for 2017 please
advise them to be in touch as soon as possible. Once class structures are in place it becomes more
difficult to accommodate new enrolments.

Picasso Cow Presentation excursion
On Wednesday the 5th October 10 Fatima students went to Bon Beach to present our ‘Picasso cow on Dairy Australia Presentation Day.’ We were accompanied by 9 other schools from the district. Some samples of other Picasso Cows.
Students thoughts on the excursion:
Taeheisha: Today we went to the Bon Beach Golf Club and we learnt about milking cows. We also did some quizzes and come competitions. I was in two competitions and one of them was to make a recipe for a milkshake. I was in a group with Steeve, Rebecca.O and Venice. We won and our milkshake was called Picasso Freak Shake. We won a frisbee and a skipping rope. I was also in a milking competition and we came in a draw with another school. Beryl didn’t win the Picasso Cow Competition but we had a good time. Monique: I enjoyed looking at all the cows and watching the teachers do the quiz.
Amilia: I loved all the cows. It was very interesting.
Finn.R: I liked that it was very intense when I was doing the milking.
Finn Mc: We had to milk a cow bottle with an udder so Finn (yr.4) held the bottle and I had to milk the bottle . Whoever won that contest went into the finals. We got into the finals and came a draw with the school next to us. We won a little Picasso cow to paint. It came in a pringle can. It was really fun and thank you for taking us Mrs. Timmer.
Congratulations to the whole school for their creativity and our 10 student’s who showed great community leadership on the day.
