Our goals are to nurture the unique voice of the individual, create a space where students feel safe to share ideas, express creativity, gain self-confidence, trust in their peers, and have fun!

Arts Immersion at River LandingThese camps offer a ½ day at Remai Modern, and ½ day at Persephone Theatre for a fully collaborative arts education experience utilizing two of Saskatoon’s premier arts facilities.

Ages 6-7 Dr. SeussvilleJuly 16-20 $300 Look! It’s you! Yes, you! There’ll be games and stories, nonsense and wiggles, and ever so many of the best kind of giggles.

Ages 8-9 Your Alien AdventuresJuly 16-20 $300 “One day, you’ll be looking out yourwindow when something wonderful comes your way...and you will want to keep him.” Go boldly where no kid has gone before! Make wild and unique friends from a galaxy far, far away...this is a camp just for you and your space imagination. (Inspired by Your Alien by Tammi Sauer).

Ages 10-11 Improv Insanity!August 20-24 $300 Improv leads to all thingsamazing; comedy, physical theatre and game-playing! Learn new drama skills, become a creative genius, follow your impulses and make life-long friends! Say what you feel, mean what you say, simply by playing improv. That’s right. Improv.

Ages 12-14 “Grimm” WorkAugust 20-24 $300 Our favourite fairy tales andstories come to life, but sometimes not quite like we remember them. This exciting and inspiring camp features storytelling, games, improvisation, and boundless energy! Explore a world of strange stories that are meant to tell us something...just what they are meant to say is up to you. Test new ideas and map the furthest reaches of your imagination.

Ages 12-14 or 14-18 ACE Arts Camp Experience for youth with mild/moderate ASD/AspergersAugust 20-24 $700 This project is a first of its kindto be taught in collaboration between Persephone Theatre and Remai Modern. This is a summer camp style experience not offered anywhere else. It is a fully collaborative arts education experience utilizing two of Saskatoon’s premier arts facilities.

NEW!Ages 18+ Live from Persephone - it’s Radio Theatre Camp!August 20-31, Weeknights 6:30-9:30pm $300Imagine world of sound, story, and the creation of world we can’t see, but can only hear. Develop and use storytelling and performance skills that build a tale ready for podcasting. Registrants will work with Foley sound making, recording, and the effective use of voice to create a series of 5 podcasts to be heard “Live from Persephone”! These are evening camps requiring a commitment of attendance for the two weeks, but the reward is getting your voice out there...into the great beyond.

Members of this camp will work on designing and creating the technical aspects of performance for summer performances. Immerse yourself in the backstage artist’s lifestyle by exploring the world stagecraft. (two-week camp)

Summer CompanyAugust 7-17 $475 As a member of this acting skills camp, you will study classical and contemporary performance techniques with professional actors and directors. Learn the essential elements of good performance through this two-week intensive camp, culminating in a final showcase for the public. (two-week camp)
