SCHOOL OF PHARMACY DEVI AHILYA VISHWAVIDYALAYA, INDORE (M.P.)

A seminar for I, III, V and VII semester B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. students was

organized on 03/08/13 from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. entitled “The Dynamics of Indian

Pharmaceutical Industry and Associated Career Opportunities”. The seminar was

held in the presence of respectable Head of the Department Dr. Rajesh Sharma and

faculty members of School of Pharmacy.

The speaker of the seminar was Mr. Atul Verma, QA Manager (ex-employee) at

Johnson & Johnson, Mumbai, Wockhardt Ltd., Aurangabad, Ranbaxy Labs,

Dewas. Mr. Verma gave a very motivational lecture to encourage students of

Pharmacy with respect to career opportunities.

The key elements of the seminar that enlightened and encouraged the students are

as follows:

Dynamics of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry.

Career opportunities for Pharma graduates and postgraduates.

“The India Advantage” and case studies associated to it.

At the last, questions were invited from the audience, which were answered by the

speaker and the audience was satisfied with the content of the seminar.

The seminar was organized in Seminar Hall under the supervision of Head of the

Department, Dr. Rajesh Sharma and Ms. Tamanna Narsinghani, Reader, School of

Pharmacy, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.
