The Second Vatican Council declared that “the Church is missionary by her very nature, and the work of evangelization is the basic duty of the people of God”. Over the past 40 years, our Holy Fathers have reminded us time and again that the Church “exists in order to evangelize”, and that “no institution of the church can avoid this supreme duty, to proclaim Christ to all peoples.” Every ministry, agency and apostolate in our Archdiocese is ordered around this ultimate goal.
In an effort to deepen our understanding of and commitment to this common objective, we have invited Renewal Ministries to conduct their nationally acclaimed School of Evangelization here in the St. Louis Archdiocese. This training is especially designed to form clergy, religious and lay professionals for effective, results-driven evangelization.
Prepare to be inspired and renewed for the mission! Mark your calendars and register today! You won’t want to miss it!
