BenBen holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Commercial Music (Guitar Performance) from Musicians Institute, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (Classical Guitar) From Cal State San Bernardino and a Master’s Degree in Music (Commercial Music – Arranging and Composition) from Cal State Los Angeles.

As a guitar instructor, Ben covers a wide variety of styles such as Jazz, Blues, Rock, Metal and Classical. As a performer, He has shared stages with national and international acts/artists such as Buck Cherry, Saving Abel, SebastianSebastian Bach, Soil, Karnivool, Testament, Frank Gambale, Stanley Clark and Paul Jackson Jr.
