Fundraising pack
The Children’s Foundation is a regional charity, set up in 1990, with the vision
of giving children and young people in the North East and North Cumbria the
best health and wellbeing services in the UK.
We help the children that other charities don’t always reach; those who are
disadvantaged, disabled and distressed.
Your support can make a difference to over 23,000 children each year.
Superhero September
Please visit our website to learn more about our amazing projects.
This September the Children’s Foundation are running a
superhero month of fundraising to raise funds to support
distressed, disadvantaged and disabled children across
the North East and North Cumbria.
Release your inner superhero and get your school or
nursery involved in Superhero September!
The Children’s Foundation manages projects
across a broad spectrum of activities to support
children and young people. This includes our
work in local hospitals were we install Vpod
pain distraction units and organise visits from
happy clown doctors to provide relief to
distressed children.
Your fundraising can enable one child to;

workshop
£38 - Be visited by a Clown Doctor for an
afternoon of therapeutic play in hospital
£60 - Receive a Stars Award and attend the
Awards celebration with their family
£1,270 - Have the tuition to complete a City

Horticulture’ project
