All lost property is placed in a trolley near our

school hall. It is cleaned out once a week and all

labelled items are returned where possible by Mrs.

Arnold and Mrs. Walsh who volunteer their time to

maintain the amount of lost property our school

accumulates.

Thank you for your cooperation with this!

YEAR 5 TASTER LESSONS: On Thursday 9th November, our Year 5 classes

attended Taster Lessons at Glenwood High

School.

5K had a Science and Drama lesson, 5C had a

PDHPE and Science lesson and 5I had a Drama

and PDHPE lesson.

In Science, students put on their special safety

googles and made slime. Miss Sener and Miss

Mohuiddin were the teachers of the Science

lessons. They put all of the ingredients in the trays

and students had to mix them altogether until

they formed a sticky slime. It was an extremely

messy, but fun experience!

In the Drama lesson, students introduced

themselves to Miss Ruzic by pairing an alliterative

word with their name and an action to match.

They had to go around the circle and try to

remember everyone’s names, their alliterative

word and action. It got quite difficult. Students

also played a game called “Yes, Lets!”, where

they had a card with an action on it that they all

had to act out.

The PDHPE lesson with Miss Koutsonikolis were also

lots of fun. Students got to tour where the high

school students do their practical PDHPE lessons.

They did some stretches and then played kickball

in teams.

Please see photos included in this newsletter of

the Taster Lessons students experienced.
