School District of Lee County 2020-2021 Advanced High School Programs of Study Application - AICE/IB

Applications must be received at the appropriate Cambridge (AICE) or International Baccalaureate (IB) school in your residential zone between January 13, 2020 and January 31, 2020. Applications may be submitted in person or by mail to the school in which applying. Any application received for a program out of zone will be routed to the appropriate zone school. Parents will be notified from the school via e-mail of acceptance or denial into the AICE or IB program starting February 14, 2020. Parents must submit the letter of intent, found in the e-mail, back to the appropriate school or by mail postmarked by February 24, 2020 to the school which applying. Parents may accept enrollment in only one advanced program of study.

Please note: Parents must complete a student enrollment application with The School District of Lee County Student Enrollment Office in person or online at www.leeschools.net by using PIN code and pre-printed student enrollment application and attach the receipt to the Advanced High School Program application. Any student accepted into an AICE or IB program will not be officially enrolled into the corresponding school in his/her zone until an intent form is signed by the incoming student and his/her parent or guardian.

Application requirements for CURRENT Lee County Students:

• Unweighted cumulative middle school GPA ≥ 3.0• Level 3 or higher on the Grade 7 FSA ELA and Math

assessments• Copy of Student Enrollment zone application receipt, online

confirmation, or Sibling assignment Letter.• Copy of semester one report card

Additional application requirements for students NEW* to Lee County Public Schools:

• End of the year report cards for the past two years and current report card, if applicable

• A copy of the most recent state or national norm referenced test results demonstrating a percentile ranking equitable to the Lee County student requirement

• Copy of Student Enrollment zone application receipt• A new student is an enrollee from another Florida county, from outside of the

State of Florida, or from outside of the country. *Lee County Charter, Private or Homeschool students are considered current Lee County Students.
