School Leaders Demonstrate: School leaders will ensure teachers are effectively supported by offering professional learning that meets the needs of both the teachers and students. Leaders will also work to provide teachers with instructional resources necessary to meet the academic needs of the students. Leaders will consistently monitor lessons plans, instruction, and assessment tools in order to provide teachers with effective feedback for improvement. Teachers Demonstrate: Teachers will use data to plan lessons, provide instruction, and create common assessments. All lessons, activities, and assessments will be aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence. Teachers will use a variety of print and web-based resources in order to enhance instruction to meet the needs of students. Teachers will implore a wide array of teaching strategies to appeal to various learning styles, academic ability, and cultural and linguistic diversity. Students Demonstrate: Students will exhibit mastery of the standards by performing average or better on the Map Assessment; and developing learner or better on the Georgia Milestones Assessment. Parents Demonstrate: Parents will partner with the school in the education of the students. They will support student learning both in school and at home. They will participate in school sponsored events.
