Our Purpose Winnipeg School Division provides a learning environment that fosters the growth of each student’s potential and provides equitable opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for meaningful participation in a global and diverse society.

About our school
“The Small School with the Big Heart”
Single Track English School
150 students from Nursery to Grade 6
10 full and part-time teachers including Classroom, Technology/Innovation, Resource, Leveled Literacy Intervention, Physical-Education, Music, French
Active Parent Council (QSAC) including Lunch Program
C.A.P.T. (Children Are People Too) Daycare. Preschool age and School age: Before and After School program.
Extra-curricular activities: Fit Run Club, volleyball, floor hockey, speed skating, choirs, intramurals, Walk-a-thon, Marathon Club, Storytime Book Club, Spirit Week, Science Fair,
Student Leadership: Patrols, Student Voice, Learning Buddies

Priorities for 2019-20 Queenston School Priorities:
Numeracy: Collect and analyze data to inform instruction, identify trends and provide solutions and interventions where necessary.
Literacy: (Reading and Writing) Collect and analyze data to inform instruction, identify trends and provide solutions and intervention where necessary.
Indigenous Education: To continue to develop plans to move staff and student learning forward through Professional Development.
Education for Sustainable Development: To continue to develop plans to move staff and student learning forward through Professional Development.
Innovation: To continue to develop plans to move staff and student learning forward through Professional Development.
WSD Priority: To provide robust and comprehensive education, equitable access, diverse opportunity, and a supportive environment for all students to help them prepare for their journey with values of learning and social justice, and to be responsible community members. Queenston School Priorities:
