There will be a Protecting God's Children / Virtus session on Saturday, January 21st from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm in the New Mercy Center. You must attend this session in order to volunteer at the school. Spaces are limited so please register online on www.virtusonline.org. Registration is mandatory in order to receive credit for attendance. This session is for adults only and there is no babysitting available. Participants must arrive on time! If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you will be asked to attend another session. SIBLING APPLICATIONS

2017-2018 School Year

At this time, we are accepting sibling applications.

Please see the information below: 2 year olds must be potty trained and 2 ½ years old by September 1, 2017. Pre-K Three students must be 3 years

old by September 1, 2017. Pre-K Four students must be 4 years

old by September 1, 2017. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2017.

MATHATHON

The Mathathon runs from January 9th,

to January 31st. Students saw the video and received permission slips to be signed to start

their Mathathon booklets. They need a few sponsors or just a donation of any kind to help them. The sponsor donates something

toward how many problems they do in the booklet.

Proceeds go to

St. Jude Children’s Hospital towards cancer research. Students also earn prizes according to how much they

received from sponsors.

Raptor Security System

As discussed at the October Home and School meetings, please be aware that as of Monday, October 17th, we

began the implementation of the sign-in RAPTOR SYSTEM, provided to ALL the schools in the Diocese of Palm Beach, for

visitors, volunteers and contractors/vendors to utilize. Parent volunteer should wear

BOTH their:

1) St. Joan ID badge lanyard and

2) the Raptor system lanyard.

Parent volunteers, visitors and contractors/vendors need to sign-in via Raptor system, located in the main office.

Parents who are volunteering will need their driver’s license.

Parent volunteers must wear

the additional lanyard that says “volunteer” attached to the clear sleeve that has his/her

Raptor sticker in it when volunteering at the school.

Due to construction, the St. Joan campus’s white gate near PK-3 and the future St. Joan Athletic Field is no longer accessible.

Parents must use the entrance by the New Mercy Center.

On the same token, please do not attempt to exit using the PK-3 gate.

We are proud to offer the FALL CLUBS listed below. EACH CLUB WILL MEET 3 or 14 TIMES TOTAL. Some clubs are free of charge and several clubs have fees. Please note: if a student is participating in a club, there will be no charge for Extended Day during the time the club takes place. However, if your child is not picked up promptly at the end of the club, the student will be escorted to Extended Day for a charge of $10.00 per day.
