Entries will be judged by members of the MDE Literacy staff. Certificates will be awarded for the TOP THREE entries in each category for each grade band: elementary, middle, and high. Winners will be invited and recognized at the September State Board of Education Meeting and will be posted on the MDE’s website. Entries should be submitted to [email protected]. Be sure to include: • The digital format of your poster or literary work, or the URL of your video. • Your full name, grade, school name, email address, phone number, and teacher’s name. • A brief description of your entry, theme, and idea. All entries should be fully created and edited by the student participant. All entries will be judged on theme, quality of work, and student creativity. Entries will be divided into Elementary, Middle, and High School grade bands. All students enrolled in a Mississippi public school are eligible to participate.
