College Fly-in Programs
One of the most important factors in deciding if a college is right for you is whether or not you can pic-ture yourself as a member of the campus and for many students this means a campus visit. If the college isn’t nearby, however, being able to make the visit might not be possible due to financial limitations. The good news is that a number of insti-tutions offer free fly-in programs, travel assistance scholarships, over-night programs, and diversity pro-gramming that comes at little or no cost to students accepted to their programs!

Junior Athletes….Now is the time for college-bound stu-
dent athletes to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center
if they plan on participating in college athletics. Early
registration promotes positive planning and involvement,
bypasses the last-minute rush and helps college-bound
student-athletes avoid issues that may delay their academ-
ic and amateur certifications. The registration process is
easy and can be done by:
Logging on to the Eligibility Center’s Web Site
www.eligibilitycenter.org
College-Bound Senior Athletes…..just a reminder…
They need to apply to the college or university they are inter-
ested in attending. Some student-athletes think that be-
cause they are being recruited or because they have regis-
tered with the Eligibility Center, they do not need to apply
for admission. Athletics eligibility and admission to a college
or university are two separate processes and both need to be
completed.
