CIEE offers more scholarships and grants than any other study abroad provider so students from all backgrounds can take their studies out of the classroom and into the world.

All scholarships and grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Open Campus Block Program GrantsAwarded to the first 200 students Students who submit their program application and receive a nomination from their Study Abroad Office will secure one of these grants. $3,000 for semester students enrolled in three (3) consecutive blocks or $2,000 for quarter students enrolled in two (2) consecutive blocks.

Need-Based GrantsGAIN Travel GrantStudents eligible for a Federal Pell Grant can receive up to $2,000 toward airfare to and from CIEE program locations.Gilman Go Global GrantQualified applicants of the Benjamin A. Gilman scholarship are eligible regardless of whether they receive a Gilman: up to $2,500 for semester/quarter; up to $1,000 for summer.

Additional GrantsMinority Serving Institutions (MSI) Grant Guaranteed for students attending a MSI. Receive up to $2,000 toward semester/quarter programs, up to $500 toward summer sessions, and up to $100 towards J-term programs.Go Abroad Again GrantUp to 10% off program costs for CIEE alumni and siblings of CIEE alumni.
