The CSO provides educational services for the community in
the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter and Manning areas.

NAME FUNCTION
Accident OHS Stores accident information supplied to the Catholic Schools Office from office and schools.
Human Resources System
Stores a list of all available applicants and casual teachers
Ombudsman Reporting Track child protection notifications to the Ombudsman
Construction Certificate Stores students who have completed the VET Construction Course induction program.
Directors Bulletins Stores all documents sent out in the Directors Bulletins.
Directors Mail Lists List of Contacts such as Parish Priests.
Payroll Data Stores current school and personnel data which has been extracted daily from the Catholic Schools Office Payroll System
Data Integration
Postcodes An Australia Post database used for data entry in other databases to ensure Postcode information is valid.
Professional Development
Stores all PD courses and all personnel attending courses.
QUILT Stores statistical date for the QUILT project
RE Course Records and tracks students attending the Religious Education Certificate Course.
SLC Clients Stores a list of all SLC clients
Volunteers Register Stores the names of all Volunteers registered at schools for Child Protection
Job Vacancies Store job vacancy details for access via web and to streamline advertising development
AFW Info Stores Version and Library Info for Schools. Used to send report to Ideas web site.
Seasons for Growth DB Store Facilitator and Teacher Program information for Seasons for Growth Program
Integration Database Track financial details of Special Education grants and spending.
Census Data Store diocesan teaching details for the DEST and CEC census. Links to the Statistical Information System to generate adhoc queries for staff and student data.
Staffing Information System
Store extra staffing details that are not available from Payroll. eg. Email addresses
Web Databases Contains data to maintain the mn.catholic.edu.au website.
