Students: Using the Portal for Self-Assessment of Core Competencies & Evidence of Learning (Portfolio)

Login to the SD44 Portal 1. In any web browser, go to www.sd44.ca

2. Click Portal

3. Enter your student login ID & password. Click Sign In.

(this is the same information used when logging into a computer)

Add Evidence of Learning to your Portfolio 1. Click Portfolio.

2. To added evidence of learning to your portfolio, click one of the add media options.

3. Enter a Post Title & select the appropriate learning categories.

4. Add media & a description. Click Submit to save and post.

5. Once save and submitted, click the X to return to your portfolio.

Complete & Turn In Self-Assessment Assignment 1. Click on your class for self assessment.

2. Click Assignments; then click the SACC assignment.

3. Click Edit.

4. Fill in the self assessment.

5. When finished, click to close the tab (saves automatically).

6. Click Turn In.

7. Click Copy to Portfolio.

8. Click OK on the pop up that appears.

9. You will be re-directed to your portfolio. To close, click your name in the upper right corner and choose Sign Out

from the drop down menu.
