NOTE:-

The following General Guidelines should be adopted for provision of BSNL telephones.

a) In the HQrs. BSNL telephones along with STD facility and dynamic locking arrangement may be provided in the offices & residences of all Administrative Grade

officers without finance concurrence with the approval of CSTE.

b) Officers below these levels may be given BSNL telephones without STD in their offices and residences only in inescapable cases on the basis of individual justification

approved by the Head of the Deptt. without finance concurrence and sanction of CSTE. If with STD facility, it will require finance concurrence and sanction of CSTE.

c) BSNL phone to staff with or without STD facility can be provided with finance concurrence and approval of AGM.

d) In the divisions, BSNL telephones along with STD facility and dynamic locking arrangement may be provided at the offices and residences of branch officers without

finance concurrence with the approval of DRM. For other officers prior finance concurrence and approval of DRM shall be required.

e) At stations BSNL telephone with/without STD facility can be provided with the approval of DRM with finance concurrence.

f) Installation of telephone with/without STD facility in the offices under HQ or division will require prior concurrence of associate finance and approval of CSTE or DRM

as the case may be.

(iv) The expenditure beyond Rs.25,000/- and not exceeding Rs. 40,000/-on any occasion would require prior finance concurrence & approval of GM
