SECURITY DEPOSIT : As per General conditions of contract, CSIDC Form No. 1, Clause 7, the Purchaser /DDOs may require the contractor to furnish a security deposit which shall be made after issue of the acceptance of the supply order within the period specified by the purchaser / DDOs. 1. GENERAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR STAR RATED SUBMERSIBLE PUMP:

(A) Supply of Energy efficient submersible pumps with motor suitable for 100/150 mm nominal internal diameter

tube wells as per IS:8034: 2002 (with upto date amendments) for clear cold, fresh water coupled with submersible motors as per IS:9283 of 1995, (with upto date amend ments) wet type to work on; 3 phases, 50 C/s., 415 Voltage, A.C. supply. The Voltage fluctua-tions may be in the range of + 6% & -15% and pump set should be able to work under these conditions without affecting performance of the pump set.

The motors shall be provided with suitable size 3 mt length PVC copper cable flexible insulated and PVC sheathed 3 core flat type of ISI Mark and supplied by ISO company. The size of conductor should be so selected that voltage drop at motor terminal does not exceed 3% of the rated voltage. The non-return valve should be fitted at pump delivery.

B) The energy efficient pumps shall be of 4/5 star rating approved by Bureau of energy efficiency (BEE). For various star ratings, overall efficiency of pump sets shall be as follows:-

Star Rating Overall Efficiency of Pump Set shall be as per IS- 8034 - 2002 4 Star >=1.15 & < 1.20 5 Star >=1.20

* Overall efficiency of the pump sets is including the efficiency factor for induction motors. The overall efficiency is calculated as per IS 8034-2002 with up to date amendments.

For energy efficient submersible pump sets the guidelines issued by Bureau of energy efficiency shall be applicable.

2. PUMPS: Typical materials of main parts of pump sets shall be as per clause 6.2 of IS 8034-2002 (with upto date amendments).

3. MOTORS:

3.1 The electrical motor is to operate through 3 phases, 50 C/s., 415+6% & 415-15% Voltage,

A.C. supply, 3.2 The motor stator should be easily rewirable. It should be possible to rewind the motor with

readymade pretested coils. 3.3 The stator body should be rigidly fitted and welded on the stamping assembly to prevent any

rotation or shifting of stampings. Stator or bearing housings should not have threaded joints and should be located by slide fit and held together by suitable bolts.

3.4 The stator as well as the motor should be impregnated under vacuum in epoxy base resin and baked repeatedly under controlled conditions to ensure hard corrosion resistant coating on the stator and motor.

3.5 The rotating elements of the pump and motor should be dynamically balanced at high speed. 3.6 The manufacturer should have in house facilities for dynamic balancing at high speed, vaccum impregnation

of motors and stator high tension electrical testing and pump testing. Details in this regard should be enclosed with the tender.

3.7 The coupling shall be preferably of mesh type rigid sleeve coupling of stainless steel nonslip type with matching groove, coller and key way arrangement.

3.8 Duty point of pumps shall be located near the peak efficiency and there should not be any steep fall in Q-H verses efficiency curve in the head range of + 10 % & -25 %

4. M.S. CLAMPS:-

Suitable for submersible pump (100mm/150mm diameter) tubewell/borewells made from 10mm thick M S Plate of 50mm width, total length of M S clamp shall be 375mm to 425mm approx. with suitable drill holes two Nos. on each side, alongwith suitable nuts/bolts/washers.

5. EFFICIENCY: Overall efficiency of the submersible pumpsets should be quoted. No negative tolerance in overall efficiency will be allowed. The overall efficiency of pumpsets shall be as mentioned in table 1.(B) duly certified by BEE.

6. INSPECTION:

Apart from pump being ISI Mark & Certified by BEE, the inspection of submersible pumps before supply shall be carried out by” Authorized Third Party Inspection Agency of CSIDC .”

7. GUARANTEE OF WORK MANSHIP AND MATERIALS:

The pumps shall be guaranteed by the manufacturer against the defects in material & workmanship under normal use, and also provide after sales service for a period of at least 15 months from the date of receipt of material by the consignee or 12 months from the date of commissioning, whichever is less. Guarantee of performance shall be applicable as per clause 15.2 of IS: 8034-2002 (with up to date amendment).

8. NOTES: 8.1 The tendering unit shall offer only one rate for one particular model of pump.

8 .2 The tendering unit shall quote rates only for those pumping sets for which they have valid ISI licence for

marking and valid BEE certification agreement. Tenderer must enclose valid ISI annexure and licence, perfectly legible along with their offer. The ISI annexure/endorsement shall cover the recent amendments made by BIS in IS 8034/2002. The tenderer shall submit valid BEE certificate, clearly mentioning specific models and their star ratings.

8.3 Information regarding HP, No. of stages, star rating and % efficiency at duty point for each quoted model should clearly be submitted by the tendering unit in the proforma enclosed herewith.

8.4 The pump sets shall be guaranteed for their performance of the nominal volume rate of flow, nominal head and overall efficiency. Note:- The pump sets be guaranteed at the nominal duty point. The same pump set may also be deemed to have met the guarantee if the users required duty point lies within the specified tolerance of head (+ 4 percent) and discharge (+ 7 percent) as per IS: 8034:2002 of the nominal duty point and also meets the non-overloading requirements.

8.5 The tenderer shall submit declaration regarding having in house facilities for dynamic balancing at high speed, vacuum impregnation of motor and high tension electrical testing and pump testing facilities as per relevant I.S. specification & BEE certification requirements.

8.6 Rates to be quoted inclusive of 3mt joint less three core ISI Marked as per IS:694:1994 with up to dated amendment flat copper conductor Submersible cable.

8.7 All Indian Standards mentioned are with up to date amendments.

16. PAYMENT TERMS : The payment of full 100% of prices of the stores of each consignment there-of will be made after receipt and acceptance of the stores by the consignee/interim consignee in full and good condition within 20 days as per SPR rule No.11, if the bills are in order. In case of delay in payment without any reason the department will be liable to pay interest as per prevailing bank rate. Bills are to be submitted in the prescribed form of the paying authority of purchaser / indenter and are to be supported with inspection note issued by the inspector and consignee’s Receipt Certificate.

3. GENERAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR STAR RATED SUBMERSIBLE PUMP:

7. MOTORS:

3.1 The electrical motor is to operate through 3 phases, 50 C/s., 415+6% & 415-15% Voltage, A.C. supply,

3.2 The motor stator should be easily rewirable. It should be possible to rewind the motor with readymade pretested coils.

3.3 The stator body should be rigidly fitted and welded on the stamping assembly to prevent any rotation or shifting of stampings. Stator or bearing housings should not have threaded joints and should be located by slide fit and held together by suitable bolts.


3.5 The rotating elements of the pump and motor should be dynamically balanced at high speed.

3.6 The manufacturer should have in house facilities for dynamic balancing at high speed, vaccum impregnation of motors and stator high tension electrical testing and pump testing. Details in this regard should be enclosed with the tender.



8. M.S. CLAMPS:-

Suitable for submersible pump (100mm/150mm diameter) tubewell/borewells made from 10mm thick M S Plate of 50mm width, total length of M S clamp shall be 375mm to 425mm approx. with suitable drill holes two Nos. on each side, along with suitable nuts/bolts/washers.


6. INSPECTION:

Apart from pump being ISI Mark & Certified by BEE, the inspection of submersible pumps before supply shall be carried out by” Authorized Third Party Inspection Agency of CSIDC.”



8. NOTES: 8.1 The tendering unit shall offer only one rate for one particular model of pump. 8 .2 The tendering unit shall quote rates only for those pumping sets for which they have valid ISI licence for

quoted model should clearly be submitted by the tendering unit in the proforma enclosed herewith.

8.4 The pump sets shall be guaranteed for their performance of the nominal volume rate of flow, nominal head and overall efficiency.

Note:- The pump sets be guaranteed at the nominal duty point. The same pump set may also be deemed to have met the guarantee if the users required duty point lies within the specified tolerance of head (+ 4 percent) and discharge (+ 7 percent) as per IS: 8034:2002 of the nominal duty point and also meets the non-overloading requirements.
