PEG APPROVED CHANGES:

Provides for a security program that protects personnel, facilities, and critical assets.

Antiterrorism applies defensive measures used to reduce the vulnerabilities of

individuals and property. Funds support the following: antiterrorism management,

antiterrorism training and awareness efforts, protection of designated high-risk

targets (HRT), the protection of High Risk Personnel (HRP) including protective

service details (PSD) and advance work, Combatant Commands (COCOM)

antiterrorism staff, implementation of random antiterrorism security measures

program (RAMP), implementation of Force Protection Condition (FPCON) system,

conduct of antiterrorism exercises, assessment of terrorist threat, assessment of

vulnerability of personnel and facilities (to include AT Operational Assessments) to

terrorist acts, and other such measures which defend against the terrorist threat and

do not easily fit into other security categories. This code excludes computer network

security (see MDEP: MS4X); excludes COMSEC (see MDEP: MX5T); and excludes

security guards (see xxxx75.L0).
