Conant Cougars Girls Basketball and Volleyball CampsLed by Conant High School Head Girls Basketball Coach Deirdre Naughton and Head Girls Volleyball Coach Drewann Pancratz, this dual sport camp will emphasize the funda-mentals of volleyball and basketball. The first half will be volleyball and the second half basketball. This camp will include sport specific skills, team building, competition and fun! Participants are encouraged to bring a basketball and knee pads to camp everyday. No prior experience is needed. Camps are for fourth through eighth graders. Pickleball/Badminton CampsPickleball is a combination of ping pong, tennis and badminton. This competitive game for experienced players uses wood and graphite paddles and unique plastic balls. It is easy to learn, provides plenty of exercise and is played on a badminton court. You don’t have to be strong, quick, athletic or good at other sports. This game is not about power, but shot placement and accuracy. Mark Stilling Football CampAll camps will place a strong focus on football fundamentals in a non-contact format. Skyhawks Flag Football CampsThis program is perfect for beginner and intermediate young athletes who want a complete introduction to “America’s Game” or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for league play. Through our “skill of the day” activities, campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning – all presented in a fun and positive environment. The week ends with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills on the gridiron! Skyhawks Beginning Golf Camp This program focuses on building the confidence of young athletes by teaching proper technique to refine essential skills of the game. Golf is a challenging and lifelong sport, so young athletes need proper focus on the fundamentals of form, swinging, putting, and body positioning. To assist in this training, Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Start-ing New At Golf ) system to its curriculum. SNAG utilizes a set of equipment designed for beginning golfers, including oversized plastic club heads and “mini tennis balls” to help build confidence and to have fun. Developed by PGA professionals, SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player and simplifies instruction for an easy, effective transi-tion onto the golf course. Bulls/White Sox Camps at the Sport CenterChicago Bulls/White Sox Summer Combo Camps

The Chicago Bulls/White Sox Training Academy coaches will give each player an opportuni-ty to receive baseball and basketball instruction taught to the pros. A low student/instructor ratio guarantees personal attention. Open to boys and girls. Campers receive a ball, bag and T-shirt. Youth Tennis Camps for Ages 4-6Camps are designed for the junior player. All classes will be taught using the new USTA 10 and Under teaching style. Classes are designed to develop athleticism, hand-eye coordination and movement skills in a non-competitive cooperative environment. Schaumburg Park District is seeking enthusiastic 13 to 15-year-olds who want to become leaders and potential staff members. Applicants must be 13 years old by Jan. 1, 2015.This fun experience is a great way to introduce the concept of employment responsibilities to teens. There will be a required fee of $22/$32 for the Junior Leader program. The fee is payable when registering for the Junior Leader Program. To register for Junior Leaders please use code 63747.
