The Painted Ladies
Dear The Painted Ladies are one of the famous landmarks in Alamo Square. They are located on Stenier Street. It is a great photo spot! The 6 row of houses are also known as the 6th sisters. These houses are called The Painted Ladies for their Victorian architecture and the various of colors. These beautiful houses were built on between 1892 and 1896. These houses were one of the houses to survive the 1906 fire earthquake and fire. Also, the yellow house was used in the beginning credits of the popular sitcom “Full House”.

The Victorian Houses
Dear Besides the Painted Ladies, Alamo Square features beautiful Victorian Architecture. A walk down the Postcard Row or McAllister will show you the amazingly kept arhcitecture especially from the 1800s. Most of these houses were destoryed in the 1906 houses but they were also restored. They vary in colors but they also feature ornamental details. The neighborhood contains houses and mansions built in the Victorian Era.
