-Hampir 11% daripada penduduk di 49 negaraGEM dikaji terlibat dalam memulakan perniagaan

baru-Pada tahun 2007, 96% daripada pertubuhan

dalam sektor pembuatan Malaysia adalah perusahaankecil dan sederhana (PKS) menyumbang output30.7%.
