Day 1 Depart USA Today you begin a wondrous adventure as youdepart the USA on overnight flight to Copenhagen, Denmark. Mealsand refreshments served on board.

Day 2 Arrive Copenhagen, DenmarkWelcome to Copenhagen. Notonly is it the trendiest city of Scandinavia, but also gets constantlyranked as the happiest city in the world. Upon arrival, you will be metat the airport by your Central Holidays Tour Director and transferredto a hotel in the city center. Rest of the day at leisure - walk along thestreets and explore the city of the royal family, and the main streetStrøget, with many shops, bars and cafes. Tonight enjoy a welcomedinner in Tivoli Gardens. Tivoli Gardens is an amusement park inCopenhagen that is a must for all visitors to the city. It was foundedin 1843 and has become a national treasure and an internationalattraction. Fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen visited manytimes, as did Walt Disney and many other celebrities, who all fell inlove with the gardens. (D)

Day 3 Copenhagen – Panoramic City Tour This morning, followingbreakfast you head out on a guided panoramic city tour ofCopenhagen. Enjoy the famed charms from the past and present,including the infamous Little Mermaid and the rococo Royal PalaceAmalienborg. Walk around Nyhavn, originally a busy commercial port,but nowadays a vibrant hub of city life and shopping. Don’t forget tonotice the house, which was home to the famous writer HansChristian Andersen. Next, visit Hellerup School and its distinctivearchitectural design featuring a central auditorium-style stairwaywhich provides an environment that encourages teaching andlearning in teams. Learn from the school principal why is their schoolsystem one of the best in the world. (B)

Day 4 Copenhagen/Oslo After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy therest of the morning at leisure to shop for Viking souvenirs, relax ortake an optional tour to Rosenborg Castle and the Glyptotek Museum.Visit the Rosenborg Castle which hosts an important collection of theDanish crown jewels. Next you’ll visit Glyptotek with its Egyptian andGreek collections but also several rooms dedicated to Frenchimpressionists included one dedicated to Gauguin’s work. You’llremember that he maintained a close relationship with painterWillumsen, which enabled Danish people to discover the man whostarted modern art. This afternoon you will be transferred to the DFDSSeaways terminal for your ferry ride to Oslo, departing early evening.Enjoy your first Scandinavian smörgåsbord dinner as you cruise gentlyup the Kattegat. Day 5 Oslo, Norway - City Tour A delicious buffet breakfast will beserved as you cruise along the enchanting Oslo Fjord. Welcome tothe Kingdom of Norway – a country with the most beautiful fjords onEarth. Upon arrival you will board your coach and head out on aguided tour of the Norwegian capital, including the impressive RoyalPalace, the main Karl Joan’s district and the Vigeland Sculpture Park.This afternoon is at leisure or take an optional tour to the Norske folkmuseum. Visit one of the biggest outdoor museums in Europe whereyou’ll discover several traditional houses from different regions ofNorway. This museum hosts 150 authentic buildings, especially oneof Norway’s oldest constructions: a wooden church from the 12thcentury. Inside traditional art, period costumes and ancient toys areexhibited while outside folkloric dance shows are held. Overnight atthe hotel. (B)

Day 6 Oslo/Stockholm, Sweden After breakfast you head for thestation to board the train to Stockholm. Relaxing from the comfort ofyour seat you will see spectacular scenery, a fairyland of woodenhouses, rolling green hills, small towns and villages before you arriveto Stockholm. Here you will check into your hotel and relax. The restof the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 7 Stockholm – City Tour After breakfast, enjoy a guided tourof Stockholm. Famous sights on the tour include the Royal Palace,the Parliament Buildings, the island of Djurgården and the Old Town(Gamla Stan), with its narrow cobbled streets and numerous antiqueshops. The highlight of the tour is a visit to City Hall with its famousBlue and Golden Rooms, where the Nobel Prize Banquet is held eachyear. Afterward, join us on a walk through Sodermalm neighborhood,and experience a multicultural mix of chic restaurants and shops,sample local delicacies, and learn about the Nordic food and culture.Enjoy your afternoon at leisure or take an optional tour to theimpressive Skansen Park and Vasa Museum. Visit Skansen Park, anoutdoor museum which explores the Scandinavian housing evolution.Built in 1891, it’s the oldest museum of this kind in the world, with150 houses, bungalows, churches, farms and manors coming fromall over Sweden and brought to life by staff in period costume. Onecan also find a reconstitution of a Lapp village. Continue on to visitthe Vasa museum to see the Vasa ship which was built in 1628 andsank during its launching in Stockholm Harbor. Refloat in 1961, hewas remarkably refurbished and gives a great vision of the naval lifein the 17th century. The seven floor museum enables you to admirethis unique ship from every angle. Day 9 Helsinki, Finland – City Tour Tour Enjoy your buffetbreakfast as you arrive in Helsinki. Helsinki, the capital of Finland, islocated on an archipelago of 330 islands and sea is a significant partof the personality of the city. This morning enjoy a half day guidedcity tour of Helsinki. Famous sights include the Senate Square,Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Parkand Monument, the Underground Temple, and much more. Thencheck into your hotel and relax. Day 10 Helsinki The day is yours to relax. Head out for last minuteshopping or maybe relax in the last public spa in Helsinki. Sauna issuch a big part of Finnish culture that the country counts one privatesauna out of every three inhabitants! (B)
