PURPOSESUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AREAS IN DRAGASANI AND BALCESTI by
attracting private investments that generate stable jobs.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:To represent the development of partnerships between business and local governments;
Providing logistical support and institutional framework for obtaining facilities for residents
who invest in industrial parks;
Establishing partnerships with similar institutions at regional, national and international
Efficient use of material resources Valcea county and area (industrial raw materials,
agricultural products, leather, textiles, etc.)
FACILITIES TO RESIDENTS INVESTORS
- Exemption from taxes levied for change or removal aside land for the industrial park;
- Exemption from tax on land, according to the industrial park land,
- Exemption from tax on buildings, buildings that properly belong to the industrial park infrastructure
- Exemptions, only with the local authorities, the payment of any fees owed to local budgets of territorial-
administrative units for the issuance of any certificates of planning, building permits and / or demolition
of building permits for the land and buildings of park infrastructure, which are part of the industrial park;
- Other facilities that may be provided by law, the local public administration authorities.
The two local authorities have issued agreement in principle on the grant of incentives provided by law
adopting the City HCL Balcesti No.62 / 31.10.2013 and HCL Dragasani Municipality No. 106 /
11.14.2013

Industry
until 1990 were built and worked factories: car wheels, shoe upper (tennis and basketball) and
other rubber products (boots, hoses psi), ammunition, plastic, totaling over 5,000 employees
now: factory car wheels (taken by the Italian group Magnetto Wheells, retrofitted with greater
capacity production) Mechanical Plant-producing ammunition, SC GANNE ATCP-producing
and rubber bands, SMEs, particularly in light industry and services.
Agriculture developed:
highly developed viticulture: Dragasani vineyard (16,000 ha, with over 60 varieties grown by 7
largest producers with plantations and cellar Occidental)
vegetable and fruit growing
Education: Gib Mihăescu National College, High School Brătianu
