Product presentation: PASSIVE AND ANTI-SEISMIC HOUSE
The product is composed of:
- Isothermal foundations made of polyurethane foam;
- Support masonry composed of elements like “finish polyurethane foam blocks”(BSF);
- Ceiling;
- Double thermopane windows with polyurethane frame (finto legno);
- Ventilation systems with heat recovery systems (cold).

1. Isothermal foundation elements made of polyurethane foam.
During 2009 a patent act demand was deposed, for the protection of these elements in
Romania which will be internationally extended.
Product’s description:
- It is a modular element, the foundation elements contains three main elements: one U
shaped element, a cover and a corner element.
The working procedure: the foundation is dug at a dept of 120-150- 200 cm, the soil is
compacted after which the foundation frame-work is done by means of joining of the
modular elements. The reinforcement and the covers are set, and the concrete is
poured.
The necessary time for the foundation fulfil is maximum 10 hours for a surface of
200 – 300 m2, 3-4 workers.
Advantages:
The very high working speed with exceptional precision, specific concrete
quantities. The polyurethane foam density is adapting according to the soil
conditions from 100 pascal up to 500 pascal if it’s the case, the polyurethane
foam resistance shall be the same or bigger than the one of the soil.
This type of foundation is not attacked by the acidity, salinity and humidity of the
soil so that the quantity of concrete is not affected in time.
The building is thermal isolated both in winter in the cold areas (in Romania the
on classic foundations approximately 100 Watt/m2 are wasted during the cold
days – in our case the wastage doesn’t surpass 5 Watt/m2) and also during
summer, in some areas, the soil temperature surpasses 40-50 degrees, the heat
not being able to enter from the soil into the interior of the house (where the
house is supposed to have an air conditioning system).

The three following pictures demonstrate the efficiency of this isothermal foundation type. In the
first picture you can see the elements description, in the second picture the temperature
variation from -20 degrees in the exterior and +20 degrees in the interior, is represented, and in
the third picture you can see the temperature flow in watt/m2.

2. Support masonry composed of elements like “finish polyurethane foam
blocks”(BSF)
The product is protected by means of a national patent act (A/00806/2005) and
international in extension (for the time being available in Eurasia No. 012548 WO
081233/2007). The patent act is a PCT which is extending on the following areas:
Europe, Japan, USA, Canada, Korea, Norway, Israel, Eurasia (Russia, Ukraine, etc.)

In the technical assessment can be foreseen masonry and ceiling elements, the
construction method description, reinforcement description and the combining mode, the
ceiling beams, the mechanical attempt to the compression and detrusion which prove
the anti-seismic quality of the houses.
In the following we attach the thermal transfer pictures (-20 degrees exterior/+20
degrees interior) and the thermal flow at a BSF standard with the resistance structure
included (concrete and reinforcement):

Advantages:
o The attractive costs for the constructions, when using this material.
o Having the same isolation degree, every other types of houses cost more;
o Short construction time (small number of workers and doesn’t need the use of
lifting equipments);
o Has the simultaneous properties of passive and anti-seismic house;
o Needs small finishes due to the precursory slate with fibre-concrete plates of 6
mm;
3. Double thermopane windows with polyurethane frame (finto legno)
This type of window is protected by the patent act no. A00813/2007.
This type of windows is composed of a frame made of composite materials: the basis
being the high density polyurethane foam, plated with aluminium and two rows of
thermopane windows so they make three air-cushions.
Advantages:

The maximum thermal and acoustic efficiency at advantageous costing prices.
The heat looses are 4 times smaller than one thermopane window (one air-
cushion).

4. Ventilation systems with heat recovery systems (cold)
Is a small dimension independent unit, which assures the ventilation of a room in which
can stay approximately 10 persons, small energy input (10 watt/unit), is easy to
maintain, easy to install, with minimum maintaining, long life and very reliableness. In the
following we present a picture of the recuperator:
