SBU Transit ServiceStony Brook University operates SBU Transit which provides transportation throughout the Stony Brook, Research &Development Park and Southampton campuses. SBU Transitroutes are operated on a variety of schedules, depending on the cal-endar day. Many SBU Transit bus stops are shared with SuffolkCounty Transit, which is a public bus transportation agency that pro-vides connecting service to regional destinations outside of StonyBrook University. ADA–Accessible ServiceSBU Transit also operates an ADA Accessible Service, which is atransportation service available for use by qualified students, faculty and staff who are referred through Student AccessabilitySupport Center. The ADA Accessible Service utilizes smaller, wheelchair-equipped shuttles that provide service directly to/frommany buildings throughout the calendar year.
