General Information

SUMMER PROGRAMS DATES AND TIMES: Summer by the Lake includes our core program which begins June 2 and continues until July 26. In addition, we have our August Jump Start programs beginning on August 11. Camps/Courses are available for grades PreK-12. Most camps are on a Monday through Thursday schedule and are one to three hours in length beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 3:30 pm. We also offer Before Camp, Friday Camps and After Camp options. Most of our programs are open to the general public, but, in some instances we have restrictions for Casady students only. Please contact our office if you have any questions about our offerings. Please call our office (405) 749-3181 or [email protected] for questions. UPPER DIVISION academic credit: Trimester credit may be available for Casady students for designated Upper Division Courses if they attend all three weeks of the class offering. A non-Casady student’s regular school determines whether or not to grant credit for a Casady summer course. Casady School will not recommend specifically that credit be granted, but we will forward test, grade, course description, and attendance information to the student’s regular school. Credit courses do require 100% attendance. Unavoidable absences must be made up on a tutorial basis with the Instructor, and the student assumes any extra expenses for such. Students taking a course for “enrichment” purposes do not have an attendance requirement. FEES: All fees are paid utilizing our online registration system. The registrant accepts that Casady School will automatically bill any balance due for a Course or Camp in the manner provided. All Payment Plan billing will happen on the 5th of each month.

Casady reserves the right to auto bill any delinquent or outstanding balances without notification.

ONLINE REGISTRATION & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: Our system has two parts: online registration and account management. The Online Registration link is to register for any new course while the Online Account Information link will allow the viewing of courses/camps enrolled and financial account information. Statements and payments can be made using the Online Account Information module. Both of these links are available on the Extended Programs or the Summer by the Lake Web page located at www.casady.org/extendedprograms. CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS: Payments will be refunded if any activity/event is cancelled by Casady School at any time. If the event is NOT cancelled, a refund minus an administration fee for each course will be given if the request to withdraw was made by E-MAIL prior to two weeks before the first day of camp/class.

We are sorry, but we cannot give a refund if a withdrawal is made less than two weeks prior to activity start date. DRESS CODE: We want all staff members and participants to feel comfortable, so the dress code for the summer program is informal. Walking shorts, appropriate T-shirts, tennis shoes, and sandals are the most common attire. BUILDING ASSIGNMENTS: Building and/or room assignments will be assigned after registration and will be designated in the program/course confirmation letter. One week prior to the camp, a reminder letter will confirm the location, in case of any changes. SUMMER BEHAVIOR POLICY: Casady School reserves the right to request withdrawal of any student whose conduct, attendance, or progress is deemed undesirable or unsatisfactory. Failing to conform to the School’s rules and regulations can cause immediate dismissal without refund. Possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or firearms is prohibited. PROGRAM INFORMATION: For additional information about Summer by the Lake, call (405) 749-3181, (405) 749-3180, or e-mail at [email protected]. Information can be provided by Division Assistants. For information concerning regular school admissions, contact the Admission Office, (405) 749-3185.
